Trans controversy in the opposition to the Police in Torrelodones: an opponent changes his sex before the physical tests
The applicant passed the first exam in January as a man and last week presented a notarial certificate saying that he was a transgender woman before facing the physical tests. The oppositions to the Municipal Police of Torrelodones (Madrid) have come across the first case of a sex change in the middle of the selection process. An applicant who was examined as a man in the theoretical test in January and who passed has been presented this week to the physical tests as a transsexual woman, taking advantage of the new law of the Ministry of Equality. Specifically, on March 15, he provided a notarial deed and a certificate from a lawyer indicating his new female gender at the municipal registry, seven days before the physical examination that was held yesterday, Wednesday the 22nd. The applicant did the tests yesterday claiming that he was a woman and dressed as a man, but no sex change certificate is officially recorded in the City Council. To avoid problems, the Serrano Consistory forced him yesterday to do the only different test according to sex as a man and as a woman. Specifically, it was the throwing of the medicine ball. He had to throw the three-kilo one for women and the five-kilo one for men, as explained by the Torrelodones security councilor, Víctor Arcos.
