Public debt is reduced by five points to 113.1% of GDP due to the growth of the economy and the improvement in income

 "This is the largest reduction in the indebtedness of public administrations recorded in recent history, which allows us to comfortably meet last year's objective and be very close to the goal set for the end of 2023," they point out from the Ministry of Economy. The 2022 target was also higher: 115.2% of GDP 

The Vice President of Economic Affairs, Nadia Calviño, stressed that "thanks to strong economic growth and a responsible fiscal policy, we have improved by more than two percentage points the debt reduction objectives for 2022."
